Who are Tank, Biscuit, Leo, and Muta?

Four fixed characters with different typing styles: Tank the turtle types a steady 38 words per minute, Biscuit the dog wanders between 45 and 60, Leo the lion sprints then rests, and Muta the cat is the fast one. Beating each of them is a milestone, and signed-in players earn a badge per rival.

Are the racers real people?

No. The four rivals are simulated characters with fixed personalities, not live players. That keeps the ladder fair: the same four characters race everyone.

Do races count toward my typing stats?

With a free account, yes: each finished race saves like any other typing session and counts toward your speed trend, accuracy, and weakness heatmap, plus race wins and badges. Without an account you can race as much as you like, but results are not saved.

How the race works.

A race is one short, fact-checked passage. After a 3-2-1 countdown, you type while your four rivals advance along their lanes at their own pace. Finish ahead of a rival to beat it; finish ahead of all four and you win the race.

The cast forms a ladder. Tank is the steady baseline almost anyone can catch with practice. Biscuit is quicker but scattered. Leo sprints past you, then rests. Muta starts late, types fast, and is the one to beat. Races stay fresh: a new passage and new day form for every rival each time, so no two races replay.
